Hospice involves the family and offers professional support and training in caring for their loved ones. Hospice services are covered in full by Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance plans. No one is ever turned away because of the inability to pay.

Medicare covers these hospice services:

Professional nursing and physician services
Medical equipment in your home (wheelchairs, hospital beds)
Medical supplies ( wound supplies, incontinence supplies)
Medications for symptom control and pain relief
Short-term inpatient care (respite and inpatient for pain and symptoms)
Home health aide services
